Pancake Day is a favourite amongst children. It is a great way to engage your primary school and inform the children about the significance of Shrove Tuesday and why it is associated with eating pancakes. It also reminds children that we should not waste resources and helps them to think of ways in which we as a society can reuse or recycle items.

The Pancake Day Assembly has some great ideas for a fun and memorable assembly.
